Fresh Just in Time for for Spring and for forever ... Our Collaboration for the Home with Timothy Corrigan!
Inspired by the designer’s love of French gardens. Known for his richly layered interiors, celebrated designer Timothy Corrigan lends his design philosophy of comfortable elegance to the collection. This marks their first collaboration. The collection debuts six placemat designs, along with coordinating napkins and coasters. Corrigan takes inspiration from his extensive restoration and garden design projects in France. Designs include treillage and topiary motifs, some coordinating with his “Jardin Français” porcelain dinnerware collection for Royal Limoges, the oldest existing porcelain factory in France.
Corrigan is well-known for his ability to blend European elegance with California comfort. His timeless designs perfectly complement classical styles, allowing for fun pattern play.
When creating the Jardin Français collection, Mr. Corrigan took inspiration from the ornamental gardens in France, where he has spent much of his adult life living and working. These stunning patterns recall traditional French treillage and motifs interpreted with a fresh American spirit.
“The range of designs in the new collection work for every-day use up through formal dining. It’s important for people to come to understand that you don’t need to make a trade-off between elegance and every-day practicality,” says Timothy Corrigan. “My book, The New Elegance, echoes this mantra of luxurious livability, because, that is what it means to live elegantly today.”
“Timothy Corrigan for Nicolette Mayer is a new dimension of timeless elegance for the table. We both share a passion for contemporary French Style mixed with a love of its history” says Nicolette Mayer, CEO of her eponymous line and their collaboration. “I have long-admired Timothy’s sense of livable elegance, his chateaux renovations, and design work. Timothy admired our unique style and our fresh, modern approach to tabletop.”
The pebbled vinyl placemats are able to stand up to everyday entertaining without sacrificing great design, making them uniquely suited for both formal and informal occasions. The napkins are a fine linen-cotton blend, and the entire collection is easily cleaned and maintained. Beveled acrylic trays include small vanity trays to extra-large trays for cocktails, crystal and barware.
