The Regence Redux Collection is a French Regency collection inspired by the block printed masters of French 19th Century Wallpaper, such as Defosse, Dufour and Zuber, who all shared artists and methods. Zuber is the only still in existence. Anchored by an enchantingly fresh redux of the 19th century French wallpaper producer Jules Defossé’s exquisite garden scenes, which were designed by Edouard Rosenmuller "Le Jardin D'Armide" in 1850 for the
Desfossé et Karth

Wallpaper factory.

Desfossé sadly went out of business years ago and only remnants are available to view and a few panels still exist in museums around the world. We were deeply inspired by the original but know that the colorations in 1850, while breathtakingly beautiful, needed not to be reproduced but reimagined for modern tastes and with our signature spin on tradition, similar to the way Sofia Coppola reimagined Marie Antoinette in her famous film, starring Kristin Dunst.

This wallpaper and fabric book features our collection of French and modern-French inspired wallpaper and fabric. With a powdery pastel color palette that will make you swoon, as we do for Laduree macaroons, each pattern is thoughtfully designed whether you are designing a French-inspired house or not. Patterns include Tuileries, a multicolor leaf pattern on grasscloth, a gorgeous allover leaf and flower trellis patterns that looks at the flowers beyond a trellis, and others that evoke flowers, parterre gardens and mazes.
